Handcrafted Iron Age Armlet

Oldcroghan Man is one of the most famous individuals in Irish prehistory. When his 2,300 year old remains were discovered preserved in a bog, a leather and bronze armlet was found on his arm.

We are now delighted to offer a limited edition handcrafted replica of this armlet.

Modeled on the original, the armlet is crafted from woven leather and bound by bronze clips. It is decorated with Iron Age motifs thought to represent the sun. Fashioned by experimental archaeologist Maggie Kobik, the armlet is a rare and unique piece of jewellery.
