Each episode is about 15 minutes long and covers stories from the last 1,000 years of Irish history. The first few will look at a famous execution of a highwayman in 1750, the first visit of an English king to Ireland in 1171, Cromwell’s siege of Wexford in 1649 and a hunger strike in 1920 during the Irish War of Independence.
